Spectronik Partners with Singapore Discovery Centre to Jointly Promote Sustainability Messages

Spectronik, a Singapore company specializing in the R&D, manufacturing and commercialization of portable Hydrogen fuel cells, announce that it has partnered with Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC) – an entity under Defence Collective Singapore.

Spectronik and SDC aim to achieve the following objectives:

  1. Promote sustainability and circular economy by exhibiting clean energy related projects and innovations that fight climate change;
  2. Develop educational content incorporating Spectronik’s knowledge and domain expertise in Hydrogen and fuel cell technologies;
  3. Inspire the next generation on STEM, mechatronics and robotics.


For a start, Spectronik is exhibiting its Award-winning Phoenix Hydrogen fuel cell drone at SDC. Visitors can turn on the drone’s propellers with a push of a button, and also learn more about Hydrogen fuel cell by reading the information on a Smart Mirror Digital Signage.

“In line with the Singapore National Hydrogen Strategy and the SG Green Plan, Spectronik and SDC aim to raise public awareness on Hydrogen fuel cell technology and how it can be applied to real industrial applications like drones and urban electric mobility. We are proud to showcase Spectronik’s technology which is 100% developed in-house and in Singapore,” said Jogjaman Jap  – CEO of Spectronik.

Phoenix Hydrogen fuel cell drone display is currently ongoing at the SDC Exhibition Gallery until 31 December 2024 during opening hours of 12:00PM to 06:00PM (Weekdays - last entry at 05:30PM) and 11:00AM to 07:00PM (Weekends, Public Holidays and School Term Holidays – last entry at 06:45PM). Admission is free for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.
