launch of Toyota Hydrogen Refueling Station in Karawang, Indonesia
On 11th February 2025, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN) launched its first Hydrogen Refueling Station (HRS) at xEV Center, Karawang, Indonesia.
The event - aptly named “Refueling the Future”, referencing its Mirai (未来 or Future in Japanese) Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle, is further proof of TMMIN’s commitment to promote Hydrogen mobility as a pathway towards Net Zero Carbon goal in Indonesia.
While the Future is undoubtedly Hydrogen, the technology is ready and happening Now! Apart from the Toyota Mirai and forklift, there were also 2 Spectronik fuel cell powered Toyota COMS vehicles on display and ready for test drive.
The Fuel Cell Conversion Kit – comprising Protium-3000 fuel cell, Cerebral-55 Smart DC-DC Converter, Carbon Fiber Cylinder and Miniature Gas Pressure Regulator, effectively doubled the COMS original driving range with just 5-min Hydrogen refueling time.
Spectronik would like to express our heartiest congratulations to TMMIN for the launch of the HRS and our sincere gratitude to the engineering, project management and logistics team at TMMIN who helped us complete the fuel cell COMS vehicles in record time.
